about
This is the final message from the character Surge Sounds, who's losing the battle of being predominant on both the Bandcamp and SoundCloud accounts of SURGE. Surge Sounds is much older than SURGE, and does digital, electronic music and even digital orchestras, whereas SURGE does a lot of hip hop and trap.
lyrics
Is anyone out there?
I hope you’re listening
This album is really out there
It’ll definitely be glistening
This is my final statement to you all
I think this is my final fall
I can’t seem to make things right,
And I just feel way too tight to continue going on
My name is Surge Sounds, but damn
SURGE has won.
I’m definitely done.
This was definitely fun, but I don’t know if I can continue this.
It’s been a good 8 years.
2011 was a good start for someone with no musical knowledge.
But I think 2019 has been the peak of my musical ability.
I’m definitely done.
Whoever hears this, do not fear
All you must know is the end is near
Do not try to save me
Just try to put yourself in my position.
Surge Sounds is just a stupid kid, who started making music at the age of 9.
I’m 17 now, and I think its time
I’m growing old, running out of ideas, running out of passion.
I let the worst of myself get to me.
There is no saving me.
There is no stopping me.
There is no more me.
SURGE might as well take the wheel,
But we all know his rhymes are easy to steal.
I just think he’s not at the same level as me.
But that’s what you people want anyways
You don’t need me.
I failed you all.
I failed the first chance you gave me in 2011, when it ended in 2015.
I succeeded partially in my second chance, with Second Chances in 2016
But failed everywhere else.
I’ve completely failed my third and final chance.
Thank you, though. Thanks for being the one
The one that pushed me forward, the reasons as to why im not gone yet.
Maybe I should just stay.
Maybe there’s another way.
I’m not too sure.
Hopefully I can find a cure.
Music is my life.
As a programmer, I sometimes find myself working on music more than coding.
It’s the best hobby I picked up.
And I’ve come so far.
Oh well, its too late.
I’m already saying my final goodbye.
Thank you.
